Shan Jiang is a Shanghai-born illustrator whose intricate worlds blend traditional Chinese art, futuristic cityscapes, and vibrant subcultures. With a background in visual communication from Edinburgh College of Art and Shanghai University, Shan’s work reflects the eclectic rhythm of his home city—its mix of skyscrapers and shikumen, folklore and futurism. He has collaborated with global names like Apple, Nike, Huawei, Volvo, Winamax or Johnny Walker and co-founded the art collective Pig, Chicken & Cow, where his illustrations transform into wearable silk artworks. Shan crafts fantastical visual universes layered with detail, narrative, and cultural memory—bridging heritage and modernity in every stroke.
