Holang-I is a Paris-based creative studio born from the desire to erase all frontiers by merging the East and West, built around the brilliant talents we represent. We thrive on building bridges between creators and clients from different countries and cultures, with the deep conviction that art and creativity form a melting pot where diverse perspectives and techniques always enhance each other. In Korean folklore, tigers (or "Holang-I") were offered the chance by the gods to become men if they agreed to follow a set of rules. The tigers refused and decided to live forever by their own principles. Our roster, composed of some of the greatest artists from Asia, embodies this story: a group of free spirits offering their vision to the world, mastering their unique crafts, and refusing to conform to any preconceived ideas.

Weifan Wang

“Fragments of Melancholy”

Between London & Taipei, Weifan draws delicate worlds where emotions blossom softly in poetry. Trained in animation at Taipei National University of the Arts, then refined at the London’s Royal College of Art, WeiFan’s work unfolds like whispered memories. Through hand-drawn reflections on human connections and unspoken feelings, his films trace the fragile contours of inner life. Each short becomes a quiet act of self-discovery, inviting viewers into suspended moments where vulnerability becomes a language. Recognized by festivals such as Annecy, Animafest Zagreb, and others, WeiFan continues to explore the luminous melancholy that lingers in what remains unsaid.
